INTEC Provides a Diverse Range of Flat Roof Solutions
Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF)

Polyurethane foam is the most effective type of insulation available. There are no seams to open, joints to split or layers of felts or membranes to be integrated and sealed through complex flashing.

Sprayed polyurethane foam is a closed cell, monolithic material that adheres directly and permanently to any substrate and uniquely conforms to any shape or contour providing the significant feature of self-flashing.

SPF is 10 times lighter than conventional systems and is designed to withstand a range of temperatures from 180º F to 65º F below zero. It is a certified Green sustainable solution providing superior R-values that have some clients reporting up to 32% in energy savings. Additionally, the elastomeric coating reflects the sun's rays which reduces cooling costs in summer.

SPF can also be used to help redirect water pooling due to roofs that are sagging because of roof equipment weight or poor roof building design.

Thermoplastic Poly Olefin (TPO)

Thermoplastic Poly Olefin (TPO) is a heat fusible membrane that uses hot air to fuse or weld the seams together to produce a leak-proof roof. TPO membranes are resistant to high winds and hail damage improving long-term durability and weatherability. TPO comes in a variety of widths to minimize the number of seams that need welding, and is available in a highly reflective lighter color to reflect the sun's rays.

Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM)

For nearly 4 decades, EPDM has been the traditional flat roof solution with over 10 billion square feet sold. It is a light weight, non-reinforced membrane that provides longevity and weatherability. EPDM comes in a variety of widths to minimize seaming, and requires bonding to the insulation with the recommended adhesive.
